Dodda Aala Mara

The big banyan tree - on the Bangalore-Mysore road is about 400 years of age. We took a casual drive on the Mysore road this Sunday afternoon. The "dodda aala mara" as it is called, seemed to be a very famous spot for many a families that carried lunch along and enjoyed their weekend eat-out. Only we could not eat in peace due to those monkeys and dogs chasing us all the time :(
